Hi, I’m Katie! I’m the creative mind behind Galaxy Designs, based in Tucson, AZ. FROM TEACHER TO WEB DESIGN EXTRAORDINAIRE
Believe it or not, I started as a music teacher in an elementary school! (Yep, I was the one leading holiday concerts and teaching "Hot Cross Buns" on the recorder.) While teaching, I discovered a love for creating engaging visuals—crafting fun materials for my students and helping other teachers spice up their lessons. That's when the design bug bit me!
Fast forward through the years, and I’ve transitioned from teaching to web and graphic design—blending my love for creativity with the latest digital design tools. I learned to code from scratch and enjoy explaining concepts in an easy-to-understand way. I truly love this line of work!
